'17 TN DL Rutger Reitmaier (Oregon commit)

We need DT help in this class but I am not sure if this kid is what we would want. Offer list says a lot and he is not a hidden gem by any means.

Just watched his film, and he def looks a lot more like a Guard than a defensive lineman -- at least for Tennessee's purposes. Maybe he could play DL at Duke or Vandy. But I suspect the Vols are recruiting him as a Guard. JMO from 6 minutes of highlight film.

Just looked his film up too and I couldnt agree more. He looks like he could be a solid OG but doesnt impress much as a DT. Especially when hes pounding 200lb OL in some of the highlights.

Not saying less, just if really close in talent, like hard to decide who to take, I would go with in state guy.

I know it is early, but based on his offers right now, I would not take him imo.

Nothing against him either btw, I wished I had talent coming out of HS to play in college, so best of luck to him wherever he goes here or somewhere else (just do not go to team in burgundy)

I know I may be nitpicking here, but even they are "really close", one will be higher on the board than the other.

Take the one higher up the board.
