Big fan IF we move him to OG. I don't know if he has played there, but he's flexible, bends well, and moves well. Would be sick pulling across the line.

He looks like he could be a great OG.

Although I don't see anything wrong with him on the DL either.

would be a good start on the DL. Huge need this class. Take as many as you can. Need some interior OL this class too. So either way it would be a good pickup.

Seconded. He blocks really well in space as a FB. RS him, out some pounds on him, and he'll fit what we want at OG perfectly.

I don't either. A more athletic Danny O'Brien..

Crazy, this kid is nowhere near where Danny O was coming out of high school. Everyone in the country wanted O'Brien.

This guy just looks like a big body who makes plays against 200lb sub par OL. His future is OL after a RS year.

He's not even a Sr in high school yet....relax..

Future may be on offense, but he moves better than O'Brien ever did...

You've obviously never seen O'Brien at a party!...JK

O'Brien has a very quick first step that gets overlooked by VN for some reason.

Flexible, bends well, and moves well.

Looks like he has solid pad level, quick off the snap, and is overall a good athlete for his size.

What do you not like about him at DT? Serious question.

SEC DTs aren't supposed to be "overall good athletes for their size" unless they're mountain sized.

You want freak-of-nature-how-can-that-big-man-move-like-that athletes for SEC DTs. When I look at this kid's highlights I'm reminded a bit of Jashon Robertson: he could probably play DT somewhere and see the field eventually, but he has more upside on the OL.

I don't necessarily disagree with that. Haven't people said the staff wants a few smaller, quicker DTs?

His pass rush moves were pretty non-existent. He just bull rushed these small kids. There are different nuances for playing OL vs DL, but you know that.

EDIT: I think he could be a DL that could play at like ... Utah State/Toledo type schools. But those clips of him moving as an offensive lineman made me think he's BETTER suited and has a higher ceiling than DL.

Smaller and quicker in this case most likely implies a much higher level of athleticism than Reitmaier's highlights show. Think more like Eric Crosby. Someone in the Aaron Donald mold.

Although I think he is a better DT prospect than that level, I agree he is a better OG long term.
