Bad news: the kid has got 11 offers now. Latest was Ga Tech

Good news: Butch still on him. He called him in the middle of spring practice. The HS coach wasnt happy with him taking a call mid practice even though it was Butch.

Ha, I bet Tillman wasn't too happy. He needs to understand the bigger picture though. :)

R: coach, its Butch

T: I dont care who it is, dont answer the phone in my practice!

I wasn't underestimating anything. if you followed the vols thru the Fulmer yrs you would have known it was a compliment.Anybody can play a 1 or a 3 on dl
There is only one all american center. I meant it as the ultimate compliment.
Fulmer would take guys that would be 1st and 2nd round DL and selfishly turn them into an all American OL
Prob before your time

And I promise you centers in the NFL are more athletic as a group than 1 techniques

Thanks engineerVOL for posting the link. You're right. He is really good. He is super quick off the snap and good speed laterally to chase down RB. Has he played against a top OG or OT yet? I would like to see that battle. Reitmaier, Crosby, and a JUCO DT would make a great 2017 DT class.

got a little update on the above scenerio

* he had his cell with him because he was on the sideline and not dressed out due to an injury he sustained playing hockey

* he actually had called Butch to inquire about a scholly, not Butch calling him

still, coach was a bit po'd since technically he was at practice. I appears we're still in the running if not the lead but he sure is being tempted
