Orange blood wins one for the good guys. Stud. Best O-line prospect to commit since the NFL Five, maybe better. Super happy for Butch and the program. Maybe it can help him get his recruiting mojo on track and set the tone for next season. Need a half dozen guys that can legitimately contribute early.

Just talked to Jack Peel at USJ. Butch was there yesterday but Trey Smith's uncle told their head coach last night that Trey was going to Ohio State. Brian Kelly was there Monday and Trey let him know wasn't coming to Notre Dame. Huge Freeze will be there at noon today.

So glad this wasn't solid info. Maybe it was a the time, maybe not, doesn't matter now. He will be clad in Orange!!!

I'm hoping it helps greatly with Cam Akers. Don't think it sways any other highly rated in state guys, but who cares if it gets Akers here. That would be huge.

Could you imagine JG, Kelly, Akers and Chandler in the backfield with Malone, Johnson and Jennings at wideout with Smith and Richmond blocking for them. Who is stopping that offense???
