'17 TN WR Princeton Fant (UT commit 6/18/16)

Why doesn't this have more likes?

Too busy trying keep up with all the new threads of kids we've offered for the next 4 years, as well as kids who we are showing interest in, that we overlook the funny and witty posts such as the one you quoted.

HELEN COMER/DNJ
La Vergne's Princeton Fant (2) fumbles a kick-off return during game one against Smyrna, at Smyrna on Friday, Aug. 12, 2016.

With every post you make, you validate even further that you have an agenda and that you will only post anything that you perceive supports it. Unfortunately for you, your perception is so far askew that your posts only reveal that you have an agenda and pretty much add almost nothing to any discussion in which you choose to partake.

Wow Fant will miss the rest of the year. Doing more surgery on his ACL because it didn't heal properly.

I hate that this happened to him, but at least we won't have to hear Eastside run him down after every game. He will just run him down continuously about the first game.

Very astute. Weirdest troll on the board. He'll cite former Vol players and recruiting classes, but it comes across as fruit of a Wiki search. A troll robot...no personality.

I am confused.

If he is sitting out the rest of the year, how did he catch a 36 yard TD pass?

He is having surgery In about three weeks. He knees seems to be "loose" and he wants to be in playing condition when he arrives at Tennessee. He has been told, he will not likely cause any further damage to the knee by playing until he goes under the knife.

He is going to play for a few more games before having surgery.

Doctor said he could technically play the whole season and then have surgery, but he doesn't want to risk his knee.

He probably knows there will be little else to play for his HS team after a few games as they aren't really good.

Got it....thank you! Go Princeton!

Sounds like sour grapes Butchna. You always claim I am a troll and every time we debate UT football I prove you wrong! Keep trying though, you are good for an occasional laugh.

Silly troll robot. Spitting out Wiki data without any personality doesn't equate to "proving" anything. Don't know what your programmed agenda is but it doesn't work. Everything you post is discounted or disregarded and I didn't have to do anything but let you post it. Commence with mirth mode.

Said the Orange Carpet Day blew his mind. The atmosphere and facilities really stood out to him. Says he will be very coachable when he gets to UT. Said Malik chose UT because he was most comfortable there. Excited to play with him. It meant a lot that Tennessee was the first to offer and is very happy with his decision. Wants to major in engineering. Pretty standard interview via 104.5.

Fair enough.
I do feel the opposite though.
If it were my future, or one of my children, I would want this done as soon as possible.
We have the ability to redshirt now and he can make up for a pecentage of high school games.
As you said, he probably received the coaches input. The staff has no history of having people save themselves, so it seems to be a suggestion from very informed professionals on what is truly best for us and him.

Ftr, "no offense" was meant to honestly say that I wasn't trying to be rude but understand your point.

They did this same thing with Hurd and the ppl at Beech were infuriated and hated it. But I always thought it was a great decision. Damn a hs season get well and work on getting to the next level where you make the money.

9:33 a.m.: It's worth noting when Maleik Gray's letter of intent came in from LaVergne High School in the mid-state it wasn't followed by Princeton Fant, Gray's teammate.

The wide receiver appears to be a blueshirt possibility and may not be announced by the Vols on Wednesday. Fant essentially hasn't played since his sophomore season due to a couple of knee surgeries after he tore his ACL in May 2015. There's no concern about him not ending up at Tennessee.

Usually if teammates are sending NLIs to the same school they are sent and announced together or consecutively.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't we announced Blue Shirts before on NSD? I remember usually the only way we have figured it out is by who enrolls in June and who enrolls in August.

We do. Jashon Robertson is an example.

Don't think BS can be announced.

I don't mean announced as a blue shirt, I just mean announced with the class on NSD.

Pretty well remember Robertson, Oliver, Bruce getting announced. Unless I'm just totally remembering it wrong.

Bruce was a BS and wasn't announced. Along with Perry and Joe Young IIRC. By the rules, guys can't be announced unless they sign something. And they can't sign something if they are BS.

You're prob right. That's one thing I'll deff be looking for today.

Can't they sign financial papers and still be announced?

Callahan said that Fant was a blue shirt possibility..still recovering from injury?

I could have sworn they announced some of the blue shirts before. Not as blue shirts but as part of the class.
