Fort just said on 104.5 in Nashville that he's leaning toward UT for Crosby. Said he doesn't know for certain either way (hoping he's lying about that).

Heard that too. Referenced number of visits, long standing relationships with the UT staff, etc. surprised to hear him be positive. I had written this one off with no GFW, Skeet, or Mueller drive bys. Now I'm just curious.

I am sure they asked both staffs to keep quiet, if leaked, would probably ruin any chance with recruits from that school and/or flipping him by NSD. I would at least think Butch would take high road to gain trust from future recruits not just at that school, but in general.

Michael Clark, the Scout representative for the Virginia area just stated that he is hearing a lot of Tennessee buzz right now. This was around 1:24 PM ET.

Really hope we land him. Seems like a great fit for Shoop's defense. Good character, work ethic, and athleticism for a position of desperate need.

Also should get the ball rolling for '17 class.

Bartow and 247 being wrong when it comes to Tennessee and a big-time prospect they end up landing would be nothing new. In fact, it's pretty much become the norm for them. Kyle Phillips, Derek Barnett, Johnathon Kongbo, Jalen Hurd, Daniel Bituli, Jarrett Guarantano...The list goes on and on...

Insane athleticism. I remember watching this guys tape right after NSD. I knew when I saw DT/ATH he had to be something special.

Buzz around tech is if they land crosby they may be getting khalan laborn as well. They are teammates. Just what I've been hearing the last few hours.
