Does every thread have to turn into an argument about the lawsuit?

Good grief, let Butch do his job, let things play out and quit WHINING bout this damn lawsuit...

At the US Army National Combine in January, Crosby was one of almost 700 participants. Weighing in at 6'1.3" & 308 lbs, he still recorded a 30" vertical. And while his best 40 & shuttle times were unremarkable (5.43 and 4.84 respectively), he demonstrated his upper-body explosiveness by finishing 4th in the power push-up with 774.6 lbs of force exerted.

Per Rivals, for a power push-up a "player gets in a push-up position and places his hands on a force plate for 3 seconds to determine the weight of the upper body. Player will then put his elbows at a 90 degree angle and explode up with as much power and force as possible. The results of the test include explosive power generated by the player and percentage of body weight distribution."

Well, you have about as much proof that it is affecting recruiting as I do that it isn't. So in my eyes, it's naive to make bold proclamations without having any evidence to back it up. You can post whatever you want and I'll continue to post what I choose to post. Doubt very seriously me laughing at all of the nailbiters in here is going to ruin anyone's good time. But continuous gloom and doom from the legions of the miserable sure doesn't help this thread. Carry on worrying about nothing, I'll celebrate.

You did not even read my entire post. I guarantee it or you would not have posted this. My post said three things that would affect recruiting and two were ones that you would agree with. Read entire post before just jumping on to comment quickly. I am not a doom and gloom. I have my tickets and even said I expect to be in the ATL and win the east. That is really doom and gloom. I have always been optimistic and still am but just think the lawsuit is one of the obstacles the staff is having to deal with. You were the one who called that opinion asinine with no proof if it is or is not.

Yeah, I didn't read your 3 sentence comment. Instead of deflecting to something we weren't talking about try staying on topic. You replied to my original comment referencing some sky is falling posts from the past 2 months. The same posts that have no backup other than a guy that was close to the program over a decade ago and a Fortenberry comment that was blown out of proportion. You seemingly want to believe the lawsuit matters more than it does and you're entitled to that opinion. But like you stated to me, it's just your opinion. If you took the doom and gloom posts personally that's on you. I wasn't really calling out anyone specifically outside of catbum (who I think is a troll anyways). If you want proof on my end, just look at the thread title. I'll be waiting for your proof that the lawsuit is costing us recruits.

Affecting recruiting and costing us recruits are two different things. No way either of us knows if it has costs us a particular recruit. Can't believe that it not ever be a factor that would cause someone to pick someone else. I do think an eight win season would affect recruiting more negatively than the suit. The only posts I have quoted from you were posted today so have no idea about anything from two months ago. You really should go back and actually read my complete posts if you wish to comment about their content if you want to have the thoughts I am trying to convey accurately in your thoughts before posting. Not being smart __________ just might make what I am trying to say more clear. Catbone has been actually positive lately. Especially for him.

Lol...the reporter asking him questions mentioned that the Battle at Bristol must be important for him this year, and then said "you may even get to play in that game." Huh? Guess he doesn't understand how this recruiting thing works.
