I did too. I assume most southerners do. The rebuttal would be that the south is so entrenched in racism that we don’t even realize we’re being racist by saying a contraction though.
After a quick google search..
African Americans took Southern usages with them during the twentieth-century exodus from the South to cities in the northeastern United States and other places within the nation.

All y’all is definitely southern.

Here is an example for people not from the south.

When taking a group photograph, the photographer might say:
"Ima Jean, you and ya'll short people sit on this row of chairs. Billy Bob, you and ya'll tall people stand behind the chairs. Now, all ya'll smile!"

Twitter is a fetid and festering cesspool of incivility.

Food, language, music, laughter are all bonding elements of society. Those who seek to toxify those elements do not want harmony. Division is the sum goal.
It’s a great place for people who want to be miserable to make other people miserable with them. Other than that I see no redeeming quality in it and the world would be a better place tomorrow if their server farms blew up over night.

Y'all is singular to part of a group and All Y'all is the plural form which encompasses erry'body.
