BBs in Nashville now if I remember correctly

You know they have means of travel to which its really easy to travel 3 hours. Hell NPA Is In Tx too Now so what's him being in Nashville have to do with the price of tea in China?

Mr. Cranky may just be happy with new hire. Let’s be honest, he was calling Butch a clown way before anyone here wanted to believe it, me included.

Maybe he learned a way to convey a message without coming across like a jackhat. Here’s to finding out. :hi:

I loved Pruitt before he was ever at UT. Really good coach with really good ppl skills & know what it takes to win and recruit. Also is not going to run away from pursuing a kid because a big time school is after them. He will run a tight ship that runs smoothly and guys will love it. He has an electric personality and kids love him. Kids relate to him similarly to how they did Lane.

Full story coming, but highlights are that he won't sign till Feb.

He is going to visit Tennessee. Likes Pruitt. Another school getting a visit is Florida. Chris Rumph had been recruiting him there. Miller likes Rumph as well which doesn't hurt the Vols. Auburn is in the hunt also.

Hey BB, I just found out the other day that I work with an Aunt of his. She texted him the other day about his offer but hadn't received a reply yet. I know you said he was open awhile before he committed do you think there's a shot?

Ask Hubbs, kid isn’t doing anymore interviews for now. I have nothing more to say. Glad we’ve got a real guy that knows talent running the show. This wasn’t a hard offer to ponder on.

Agreed. He should have been offered before now. Not sure if it would matter but she did tell me his dad lives in Tennessee.

“I plan on taking 3-4 officials,” Miller said. “I will visit Tennessee, Auburn, and Florida. I'm not sure about the fourth visit yet. I might visit Tennessee next weekend.”

Miller has never seen Tennessee and wasn't interested in the Vols until Jeremy Pruitt was named head coach last Thursday.

“He's a great guy,” Miller said. “Ever since I met him he's always been straight up with me.

“He called me Thursday night and told me he wanted me to take a visit there.

Miller suddenly also has another tie to Knoxville in former Florida defensive line coach Chris Rumph who has been recruiting Miller to Gainesville before joining Pruitt's staff on Friday.

“I know him pretty well,” Miller said of Rumph. “I had a great relationship with him at Florida.”

Miller will visit Auburn in January and said he is not going to signing during the early signing period.

Miller said he has no plans to made a final decision at this point but is just focused on fighing the right spot for him.

“I'm just looking for a great fit,” Miller said. “A place that has a great atmosphere and a place where I am comfortable.”

Good to see some kids like this holding off until February to sign. We're gonna need more time for a lot of these kids we're just getting in on.

Glad this staff is recruiting this young man. We have serious ground to make up. Wish he was a '19 recruit.
