I know I'd much rather drive in Knoxville than Lexington. You can get virtually anywhere you need to go in Knoxville within a mile of an interstate exit. You cannot get anywhere of note in Lexington from the interstate without driving 8 miles, and taking three left turns through 12 red lights and 3 residential areas.

I'm a professional driver, I can get you anywhere in Lexington outside of rush hour in 15 minutes. It's laid out like a wagon wheel, and you just need to know the quickest routes, sometimes an indirect route is much quicker.

I agree. I lived in Lexington and Knoxville for a number of years I would prefer to drive through Lexington over Knoxville. I just stayed off of New Circle Road as much as possible and navigated the spokes and never had any problems.

That's the way it's done 😉

Nice article. I think the Tennessee quote sounds the most positive:

Tennessee (visit planned for weekend of Jan. 26): "Me and Coach (Jeremy) Pruitt have a great relationship. He actually called me before (Alabama played in) the national championship game just to check up on me. Yeah, we've got a great relationship."

Also planning visits to Auburn, Oregon, and Florida.

That didn't seem accurate because I have lived in all three locations. Wikipedia states that Lexington has a population of 318,449 and Fayette County has a population of $506,751.....Knoxville has 186,239 and Knox County is 451,324....baton Rouge according to Wikipedia is 227,715 with East baton Rouge Parish at 594,309.....GBO

I Googled the metro area, and those were the first results I was given. I am lazy, and did not check the source, I admit.

From SEC Country:

Miller is the top-ranked defensive tackle in the class, so he’s a piece Auburn can’t afford to lose.

The Tigers are aware of the surrounding threats — Tennessee, Florida and Oregon. Miller will take his official visits to those three destinations. It’ll be Oregon on Jan. 19, Tennessee on Jan. 26 and Florida on Feb. 2. Auburn’s official visit will come first, this weekend.

It won’t be easy for any of the three to leapfrog Auburn.

“There were some schools who came in to offer me and some that told me to come visit. I’m just the type of person that, if you offer me, I’m going to give you some type of shot. I’ll just take some visits first,” Miller said. “Tennessee, if I go down there and love it. I’ll go back down to Florida and see what [Florida coach Dan] Mullen’s talking about. That’s about it.”

he's not going to make it easy is he?? lol....this would be a HUGE flip. get it.

He said pretty much the same thing when he left Auburn visit yesterday. Said he felt the same about AU as when he committed.

Miller not much of a talker. I think his decision goes to the wire.

So the above means Auburn brought the cash on his last visit?

We have a rule, don’t bring the cash on campus to OV’s. That is done quietly at coaches’ final in-home visits.
