'18 AL DE Coynis Miller

Per Hubbs
Overall, Tennessee’s board remains fluid with roughly ~11 spots remaining, and the Vols desperately want to add another defensive tackle to their commit list. They’re working on flipping Coynis Miller (Auburn), who will visit Jan. 26 and looked impressive in spots during the UAA Game, and they recently offered Texas DT Otto Ogbonnia. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see more DT offers go out over the next week or so, as Tennessee looks to find “diamond in the rough” late in the process.

I know most watched the UA AA game and came away wanting Washington the most - and I hope he ends up in orange - but I was more impressed with this kids performance. Had like 5 tackles and a sack. Very disruptive.

Really hoping we can get the flip.

The Knoxville metro area is actually slightly larger than Baton Rouge metro, by about 30 or 40 thousand people. Knoxville's metro area is larger than Lexington's by about 300 to 350 thousand people.

I know, I'm from Knoxville and I've worked in Lexington a lot. I actually really like Lexington though, I don't have much bad to say about it, but as Edward the Longshanks would say..The problem with Lexington Kentucky is..It is full of Kentuckians.

Has to become a huge target with only 4 legitimate DTs on the roster after Mckenzie’s departure.

That didn't seem accurate because I have lived in all three locations. Wikipedia states that Lexington has a population of 318,449 and Fayette County has a population of $506,751.....Knoxville has 186,239 and Knox County is 451,324....baton Rouge according to Wikipedia is 227,715 with East baton Rouge Parish at 594,309.....GBO

I know I'd much rather drive in Knoxville than Lexington. You can get virtually anywhere you need to go in Knoxville within a mile of an interstate exit. You cannot get anywhere of note in Lexington from the interstate without driving 8 miles, and taking three left turns through 12 red lights and 3 residential areas.

I think the poster was referencing metropolitan area which encompasses more than just the city and surrounding county. It would also include surrounding counties like Sevier, Blount, Loudon, Anderson, Union, Grainger, and Jefferson Counties for Knoxville.

That's because Knoxville was built with two major interstate running through the center of it. Lexington was built with two major interstates running on their perimeter. What sucks, is you can't use the interstate to get anywhere in Lexington. New Circle Road is your main hub around town, and it is a 4-lane road that transitions from interstate-like to Kingston Pike-like depending on which area of town you are in. It is very frustrating to navigate if you are used to Knoxville's infrastructure, for sure.

This guy and Griffin are probably the two most important recruits left. Need DBs and DTs desperately

You’re right, I never said they were better.

People argue about the most ridiculous things. We have excellent facilities, who knows the rankings? Who cares , good enough I suppose. Doubt any major recruit picks one school over another because of facilities, they are all great at most major schools.
