'18 CA CB Olaijah Griffin (USC signee)

I really hated him for stealing Mecole Hardman. I don't know how he does it but kids just love him.

We'll land #1 recruiting classes with Pruitt.

He's got that teacher background. Just knows how to build relationships.

I teach and kids love me for some damn reason and I'm a total douche.

Imo Byrd would be better suited at CB. Not sure Kelly has the speed to play S under Pruitt. Not sure about Gray. It has been alot of disappointment in the secondary and it will be interesting to see the talent Pruitt brings in and the expectation of developing these guys....especially current players

i bet Gaulden goes Pro.

Best thing to do when you got gas?? Rip a nice hot silent one in a group of people, then ask "do y'all smell popcorn??"

Then walk away slowly while holding in your laughter. I do this to my wife l the time.

My fiance and I were brushing our teeth in the bathroom. I told her I farted, she caught wind, left abruptly and pissed off. She finished brushing her teeth in the other bathroom.

Osborne, Byrd and Warrior..... Byrd was arguably the best player in the Army Game and these dummies moved him to offense after he dominated. Smh

Do think Byrd can move back to cb and be good enough to start in just one off season or is that a move that takes more time?

“the whole trip is something that i would love to do again,” griffin said, laughing. Griffin decommitted from the bruins on saturday, telling volquest.com, “after just talking with my parents, i didn’t really feel the same way about ucla.” what changed his mind? “tennessee,” he said, smiling. “go vols!”

in less than three weeks, the vols have shot up griffin’s leaderboard, as a knockout official visit has positioned tennessee on top for the blue-chip defensive back. “tennessee is probably the best thing i’ve ever visited,” he said, noting that he still feels that way three weeks later after letting the visit marinate a bit. “the first time i got off the plane, i was like, ‘wow. This is tennessee.’”

“i’ve always been a california (guy), but now that i’m starting to look into the sec it’s kind of crazy,” griffin said. “i had never been to another campus outside california. So when i got to tennessee, i was like, ‘this is amazing.’ this is where my family started from, so i can probably feel like home.”

“(pruitt) thinks i’m a great player, and i think he’s a great coach,” griffin said. “(early playing time) plays a big role, especially in the sec.” tennessee will be in a fight to hold its current momentum for griffin, who said his only goal down in orlando was to earn his 5th star.

With january visits upcoming to usc, michigan and auburn, the vols have to hope another school, staff and campus won’t catch his eye before a final decision on national signing day. Still, sitting in the catbird seat beats trailing for the 4-star corner, who even contemplated signing early with tennessee in december. “(the vols) got a pretty big lead right now.”

Visiting Ann Arbour in January? Cross them off the list. Auburn is Auburn. I think it comes down to us and USC. He is a Cali kid. That will be a tough pull but I believe Pruitt can do it.

Yes! CB is all athleticism. Yes there’s technique and scheme involved but you have these coverages to learn. Press Man, off man(Distance and leverage in the system, and your leverage in the zones. There is no understanding the plays like safeties or linebacker. Get out there and get it or come off the field.

Thanks. Sounds good.

They picked up Trey Dean who we had committed, looking pretty tough on Espnu right now, Warren is a good recruiter and coach imo

One we may regret not keeping around but not sure he even gave us a chance due to being slow played at Bama. From early reports it sounds like he is the kind of CB we are recruiting now. Big, long and physical at line

Warren landed Dean at Tennessee. Pruitt didn’t want him at Bama. Very quick decommit when Pruitt was hired equals Pruitt didn’t lose Dean. I agree Warren is a good coach. Was disappointed in his recruiting.
