Does the Eddie Smith signing and the Surtain expected signing take Bama off the board for Griffin? They can't take both can they?

Kid was definitely intrigued by Bama for the same reason his family was turned off...the "football factory" mentality there. We'll see who wins out, dad agreed to relocate for one year if his son chooses an OOS school.

Best of luck Vols, I'll come back to congratulate y'all if you pull one of our guys.

I wasn't going to say anything because this is forum and I don't care if someone claims to be an insider and ends up being wrong. However when someone claims to be an insider and is wrong (YOU) and then starts to try and call out other people when they bring false information and act all high and mighty, I am going to speak up.

VFL92 stop calling people out when you are a phony yourself. All throughout the Gruden you acted like an insider you even went as far to say that once the coaching search was over that you were going to get off of this account (VFL92) and go back to your original account on VN for privacy purposes. I enjoy your posts too, I feel like your bring valuable insight and perspective on things and drop funny gifs here and there, but stop calling people out when you played the "insider" role in the Gruden thread yourself and it turned out wrong.

I owned up to being wrong, like others, and have no problem saying so. It’s not my intention to call guys out and say “you were wrong” but I’m asking guys who made specific predictions like “my source says ITS committed to the coaches today” and asking if they still stand by those things.

I was flat out wrong about Gruden. I don’t think any of us will truly know what all happened there. I will certainly be hesitant to ever bring info here in the future. I try to ask good questions to those who do bring info. If someone claims to be so connected that they hear things from the coaching staff, they’re worth hearing from again.
