We just let loose two NFL DBs. I trust Pruitt to find good replacements. He recruits at an elite level.
But I think we might be foregoing better players down the road that need some developed for more ready made guys with less in the way of a high ceiling.
I guess being the new Alabama is an even trade off. We'll have less great NFL players down the road but we'll have more success in college football.

And further more.....if you knew half as much about football coaching and recruiting as you think you do then you should be on a top shelf staff somewhere, so why is it that your not???
Dude, don't question D4H.
His ability to watch 7 minutes of hudl "film" and predict a kids entire future football career (regardless of a lack of information about their personality or knowledge of how a kid plays on all the plays that aren't carefully handpicked to make him look good) is unprecedented.
Don't let the fact that he's missed on dozens of crazy predictions before misguide you.

Really? Really?
With Coach Pruitt using the Alabama model for building our program we should see a lot more success for our players in college.
But I doubt we'll ever see the elite NFL talent we had on the 2015-16 Vols teams. Those squads will go down in history as among the most loaded with future NFL stars.
Haha, yeah right. You need to lay off the sauce..
Just watch it happen. I bet we win the national title in 2020 with mostly guys Jeremy Pruitt recruits the next 3 classes. And I bet we'll have more players develop into NFL stars from the 2016 Vols that went 9-4 than the 2020 Vols that win the national title.
Who are you taking about....one player is blowing up, who else...nobody
