Whenever you can get them on campus you do. May get a commit and shut it down. Last in home before signing day is more important.

OV to UT this weekend...

THE SKINNY: The Pensacola product immediately tweeted out his interest in Tennessee after Pruitt took the job. The former Alabama defensive coordinator was Copeland’s lead recruiter with the Tide — the 4-star’s perceived leader. Vols assistants went in-home with Copeland last Friday Copeland is a former UF commit. Copeland is not an EE and will sign in February.

Nah, but he sounds like a gracious and good kid. Would love to have him in orange, but it feels like too little, too late. Gave CJP some recruiting news steam by just visiting. He'd be catching passes next year here, but it's hard to slow that train.

Location on the tweet is Alabama. Do you think he just tweeted this on his way back home while driving through Alabama or maybe its a little foreshadowing. Hopefully he ends up a Vol. We need elite receivers.

He’s from Pensacola which is about an hour from Alabama

From all accounts he has LOVED the attention of the recruiting process and tries to attract it every chance he gets. No one knows here but Bama is the most logical.

He was going to sign in Feb because Bama was also playing him and Pruitt knew it. Him talking about making a decision means good news for us.

If he signs on Wednesday he is a Vol! Early signing period works in our favor here

I would be utterly shocked if a guy who loves recruiting as much as this guy signs early.
