Suck it gamecocks.

As an aside... why would anyone want to play at usce over UT. Only explanation is we HAVE to be telling these kids were full, like we did Treveon Johnson.

I'm going to be brutally honest, UT has a much more storied history and tradition, but USCe has beat us the last two years and seems to be trending upward again. I know we all can reminisce on the glory days, but these kids want to win. They have grown up with Tennessee having its worst decade in program history.

usce barely beat the worst team in Tennessee history, on the final play that literally came down to a split second and mere inches.

That is an impressive accomplishment when you're usce but not something I'd hang my hat on.

New era. New coaching staff. And we're it's not long before they're our perennial whipping boys again.

I don't even take recent years into consideration in my comment (and lets not forget we were 9-4 in '15, '16). I'm talking location, facilities, stadium, fan base, education available, et cetera.

Vols is head and shoulders the better program. No competition.

And yet, we've got some highly rated recruits buying in to Pruitt & co. at UT. And all the other recruits see that, too. UT has a lot more credibility post-Butch and post-Currie, especially with Fulmer in-house. So, yeah, I, too, wonder why a kid would go to S Car. over UT, if UT went after him.

I expect that the 2019 class will be different, without the short time we've had this year, and with the UT staff already hard at work on it. And I'm confident that we'll have at least some progress on the field to show them.
