Very possible but I wouldn’t assume Cox is better if he is like his brother, he passed Cox for a reason and about everyone’s pick to be the breakout star this year. Be interesting to see if they adjust to bring in another, Quay can play OLB as well so they may move him outside. Cox leaving just gives earlier PT to Nolan Smith.

Nolan Smith, Robert Beal, Azeez Ojulari, Adam Anderson, Jermaine Johnson, Walter Grant all either have comparable rankings coming in, some higher than Cox and Mekhail Sherman next year, they might sit still.

@secking did the kid really get passed at LB or did his attitude get him passed. As a fan I would say the other kid is better. But I think Cox attitude got him passed up and not talent.

Kinda go hand in hand, but he got passed. Ojulari absolutely was a monster at the end of last year and has continued. That’s why I’d love to grab BJ Ojulari, it’s in his DNA to blow up after getting into college. Cox really struggled at times last year, he couldn’t set the edge to save his life. Deandre Walker and him got into it in the MTSU game bc he wasn’t even trying to get into position to set the edge. (That’s on YouTube I’m sure). Adam Anderson is just as talented but lighter in the britches. Cox will land somewhere and can do great things, IF he wants to.
