Yeah, I was thinking we were planning on bringing in Emerson, but maybe there is a little doubt out there about him (or maybe we are really wanting to load up at DT ). Guess you can never have enough beef on the line.

how many DTs we need in 1 class, have 2 studs from the midstate

At least 4 this class. If Tuttle doesn't redshirt I think he declares. So that 2 leaving probably 3 if kmac dominates. So yeah take as many as we can this class

Our Junior class is loaded with DL. When they graduate in two years we better have replacements with some experience ready. This class has to have several DL included, or we will have some serious depth/experience issues along the defensive front going into the 2019 season.

I tend to look more at offer list rather than stars when judging non 5 star guys, but this 3 star stuff is getting old. I am not saying this guy is not good or anyone in particular, but I think most would agree, you do not want to have high percentage of 3 star or lower players making up your team.

It was just disappointing to see we may flip a recruit from LSU, only to see he is another 3 star (might be higher on another site did not look for what it's worth).

I know most know I am more positive than negative, so I am not one to just complain all the time.

So you tend to look at offer list but yet you're ignoring his offer list? He is ESPN300 guy btw.

Yawn

You kind of answered your own concern in your first sentence. This guy has multiple high level offers- LSU, Michigan, USC, etc. There are high level 3 star players in the states of Georgia, Florida, Texas, and California. There are so much talent that they can't slot them all as 4+ stars. The 247 composite has him as a top 400 player. That's a take for most every team in the country.

Tennessee UF Miami Arkansas FSU BYU Penn State Pitt Oregon USC Michigan South Carolina Texas Louisville Ole Miss Miss State LSU VT and many others but yet you're mad that he doesn't have 2 more tenths of a point on his rating? Lmao ok.

Seriously? Orgeron has possibly coached more 5 star/ first round DL talent than any coach in CFB history. He's a scumbag, and functionally illiterate, but the dude KNOWS D-Line

He's DL who has dominated at camps and has FIFTY PLUS offers. Should have picked a different 3 star thread for this post.

That's why I said I am not talking about him specifically, just the overall 3 star recruits we have been getting. That is why I said, you would not want to have a high percentage of 3 star or lower players making up your team.

Again, not saying he is not or will not be quality player, just number of 3 stars we have been getting.
