Not looking to make excuses, just pointing reasons. We just had a 4-8 season. We were 0-8 in conference. We had a cluster**** head coaching search and came out of it with a first time head coach. What about all of that inspires any of these kids to believe we'll turn that around? Hell we're fans, and it's obvious that some of us have our own doubts. Pruitt was trying to sell a **** show not of his making. Hard for me to fault him on missing out on guys this year. Best thing he can do is try to fill his spots with guys he feels can contribute and whom fit his system. That appears to be what he's doing. And it's been said by more than one poster tonight, but the true test will come when the season starts. If he shows he can coach these players up, he'll get the attention of future recruits. This is just the beginning. A rocky beginning, but still the beginning. It's not where you start, it's where you finish. And I'm not talking about this recruiting cycle. Give the man a chance to do something before declaring him a dud.
