They are going to have to be elite to recruit here because it’s a train wreck. I got my hopes up way too much and set expectations too high. Still no excuse to lose Young to Taggart though, none.

A little bit different in recruiting to UA as an assistant and to UT as HC. Especially after the season we had and the turmoil.

I don't remember seeing it, either.

Page numbers aren't as useful as message numbers, since we can set different numbers of messages per page. So that'll vary by member, and maybe by device, too -- I don't know.

It's not the only thing they have for negative recruiting. All of our main coaching positions are filled by people with little to no experience at that position.
I personally have a good feeling about the success of this group but if I was a rival coach, I would be pushing that inexperience as a huge risk for a kid.

They show on field success this year, the recruiting becomes much easier next year.

If Pruitt was at a school not named Tennessee with the history of this program or if the school still had a name like a “Florida” or “FSU” then he would’ve went ballistic. Tennessee doesn’t ring bells with these young dudes for real. Why do you think it’s always “I was surprised by how nice it is” or “I wasn’t expecting it to be that nice”. They think we are a 3rd rate school.

I can't remember who posted it or where he got it.He posted that Price said Quay was struggling with his decision and wasn't looking right now like he was signing tomorrow. But have no clue where he saw or heard it.Been hoping someone else with a VW subscription could confirm or deny it. But regardless he could change his mind a hundred times between now and in the morning. Things can't ever be simple in Knoxville.

Agree. All the great news the last couple of months of all the recruits we were on got a lot of our expectations sky high. Including me. Going to bring myself back down to earth and hope these coaches can coach them up. And also, we forget that our early signing period wasn't a bad haul and filled some needs.

It won't be a bust regardless. We are getting 4* Gooden,JJ, possibly the newly awarded 4* DB from the state.Then very likely we get Mincey, Flowers and the WR from Cal. Plus no clue what Walker and ITS will for sure do. There's plenty of potential to be a great signing day.
