Fairly certain not a single person suggested this.

Pretty sure all anyone said (except maybe 1-2 extreme Hubbs bashers like the guy who said he should go cover auburn or something) was that Hubbs and others didn't seem quite in the loop lately, and suggested the coaching change might've been the cause. Perfectly reasonable.

Despite all of Ron Swansons snarky remarks since that discussion, he himself acknowledged it to be the case.

That is all.

Personally, I wasn't aware Hubbs was some demigod above reproach. His defenders sure are sensitive, I'll say that.

Re: Wonnum, maybe it's just the homer in me, but I say he's a Vol commitment and he continues the momentum of this class. Based solely off my homer gut wishing it to be true. Plus the whole better staff, better traditions, better location, better facilities, better playing time opportunities, better education opportunities, etc etc etc

The thing about Hubbs is I believe he is well connected inside the A.D. and still is with the new staff I think the problem is that with the change in the recruiting board he doesn't have the connections with the recruits that he normally does and in such a short time hasn't been able to establish those connections where he usually excells.

If Wonnum really does want to study forensics, UT ought to have a good shot. Forensics specialists from all over the country consult with our peep on cases. Some athletes are serious about getting a college education. Maybe he is one of those guys who will go to the school that has everything he is looking to get.
