Chatman was practically glowing upon his return to Tennessee’s campus as a commit this time, enjoying hanging out with Mays and escorting Anderson around. It will be interesting to see how seriously Anderson considers UT moving forward. He’s not in a hurry to make a decision, but he’s set for a two-day trip to UGA and then Alabama on Sunday — both UT’s biggest competitors here.
Meanwhile in Athens, Kirby Smart and company have been waiting with open arms, despite being spurned earlier,
“They’ve been trying to get more communication going with me," Anderson said. "They just want to show the good and bad for me.”
He maintains there's no bad blood between him and the Bulldogs coaching staff.
"It’s all about the same," Anderson said. "They said they’d still be there.”
Don't expect a new commitment any time soon, however.
“I’m just taking it step-by-step right now," Anderson said. "I’m trying to finish up my high school year before I think about the next step.”
In fact, he has yet to even think too far into the college season.
“Not yet," Anderson said of planning officials. "We’re still looking at them.”
Will Georgia be in line for one when the time comes?
“Probably, but I’m not sure,” Anderson said.
-247marietta, ga. -- four-star edge rusher adam anderson (rome, ga./rome) is preparing to chase down five-star quarterback justin fields (kennesaw, ga./harrison) once again in a few weeks. As for his recruitment, 6-foot-4, 214-pound outside linebacker says anything is possible.
"i will probably decide after the season, but i am not sure," anderson said. "i am still debating, so anything can happen."
anderson said he is still looking at possible visits. At this time, anderson says a pair of programs are standing out.
"based on who i am talking to right now, it is between georgia and alabama," anderson said.
The crimson tide got anderson on campus in late july.
