I was surprised he didn't commit there this weekend. As much as I know we need him, I think we are runner up. Maybe he waits and we can give him more to think about.

Yep this is a big year to get some notable draftees etc. although urban QBs don't have much of any NFL success besides Smith and even his is medicore

OSU feels good about Emory Jones right now. Could happen soon with him. I think Tennessee is looking at some other guys in 2018.

Because its not NSD 2017 or 2018 and recruiting is constantly going on.

Vols have fought the inevitable since the OSU offer. Good effort, and would have had him, but back to back visits, and he's still OSU bound

Damn. We needed him so badly. This is why the 2016 season needs to get here ASAP. I feel confident wins are coming this year, and we need them badly to start showing the tog targets our system is working. I really don't want to "just miss" on Gibbs, Akers, Chandler, and others.

Can't see crying over a 2018 QB, there will be plenty of kids come out of the woodwork after playing two more seasons of high school. I think we will be just fine.

I agree. While missing out on Jones hurts, the UT QB cupboard is far from barren.

Posters are acting like we only have Rick Clausen and Joey Matthews on the depth chart.
