Jones is a good passer. He is better than penix. i put jones and Martinez in same category together. Good passers that can run. Penix is a good runner that can pass when needed but not one you want throwing 30 times

I'm confused on Jones. I always thought that he was actually more of a pro style guy who didn't make plays with his feet like Fields did, but a much better passer.

That was the narrative last summer, anyway.

With the Martinez decommit and the staff telling Penix no thanks, I would like to know the intent of who will fill those slots at QB? A late flip would give us some needed momentum with this current class.

i think there's momentum. most of it really good imo.

the qb situation is glaring, and has to be addressed.

i'm not super confident that we can get a big flip, especially for the majority of these guys that are Dec signees.

but, it does look like that there's a possibility there could be a lot to sell an incoming QB if we land some of these OL, WR, RB, TE recruits wind up committing......
