'18 GA RB Anthony Grant (FSU signee)

If so, hope it's good news on Corbin.

Idk.... I know the staff wants to add another back, but I think we’d do okay with Chandler, Banks, Fil-Amis, and Jordan.

Put us in prime recruiting position in ‘19 for a premium back.

Freshman usually can come in and contribute pretty well.

What about Jordan? Did he leave?

They both looked capable backups. Jordan very tough runner.

Jordan was the one I was thinking of. I agree - looked good in his limited touches.

Coleman showed nothing. 4 carries for 9 yards. 1 reception for 3 yards. Not saying he won’t be decent, but hard to say.

Er, how hard are the staff gonna fight to keep him? Looks like Corbin’s to aTm.

Jordan looks like a JK clone with what few carries he has had.

I wonder if that matters with the direction the offense is moving in?

They want bigger and more explosive. Speed isn’t everything like it was with Jones. But the backs are kinda similar so it’s not like we’re doomed or anything.

Raves about Taggart and says FSU at the top.

I’ve soured on him. Go be a Seminole.

We want him as a safety and don't need him as a running back. Interesting that WT is having to take a guy who is a three star at RB. Rather have Banks and glad we got him instead. FSU is going from getting their usual top five in the country running backs like Jimbo used to get to Grant. Need Miami to become to the force to keep Florida down. Hate if they get Young but if not for our staff, FSU would've not even had him on their radar.

This keeps getting repeated but from Grants own mouth they see him as a RB during his OV.

I know. Have no doubts they are telling him that and he would get that shot. How long he wants to wait to see the field would determine if he plays safety, earns RB playing time, or gets processed out.

I think Tennessee wants to keep Grant, but it doesn't feel like the Vols are in great shape there. They have slow played him since Pruitt has been here. Pruitt never went in home to my knowledge

To be honest I wonder if Pruitt will have some regrets once this is finished. The way they handled Grant as well as the timing of some of the OVs and in-house visits. VQ has talked about that a little bit on their podcast. You never know though. To the extent there were mistakes, you can hope he learns from them. But we will have a nice class regardless.

What mistakes? Everyone knew Grant wasn’t gonna be apart of this class for about a month.

I’m not sure there were any. But the VQ guys have questioned why he did some of the OVs early, like Griffin. But they also said Pruitt may have judged we needed to do that to even have a chance. So you really never know. I’m just saying if Pruitt made any, hope he assesses them and learns from them. That’s all.
