“the facilities were incredible,” he said. “they really impressed me. We got to go to their practice-facility area for a little bit, and that was crazy. Some of the features, like the peyton manning room, that stuff was very cool. I really appreciated the sec legacy, and specifically at tennessee, it was very prominent and very cool.

“and then something that was really cool that happened while i was down there was i got to chat a little bit with jon gruden. Obviously, me being a quarterback, that was something of dreams, so that was very cool, just to be surrounded with people like that and a community that’s just so into the football program and what the school was doing. It was really cool.”

“Tennessee is very high up on my list right now — I’ll put it that way — and it’s definitely one of the visits that I want to make.”

Got a feeling Yankoff is seeing if Helfrich lands here to follow. He decommitted from Oregon about the time Helfrich names was coming out as a legit option here

Kind of strange that he decommits when Helfrich gets canned and then UT offers around the same time that there are "rumors" that we may target Helfrich. Hopefully it isn't all a coincidence, I would love to have Helfrich as QB coach/OC.

Former Oregon OC Lubick just gave him a Baylor offer.

Don't need him. I hear he had an extremely overdeveloped right arm.
