Players being dropped are not the ones he wanted.
But are his decisions good? He ran off our qb commits and got a walk-on and maybe a guy who has thrown as many interceptions as he has tds. Who is to say Pruitt isnt trying to sabotage UT football?

Then he would never get another chance to be a head coach. If they end up being bad decisions, I guarantee they were not intentional, just mistakes. Although, I don't agree with all his decisions, Pruitt and/or Helton are doing what they think is best for their system and UT. Hopefully, it all works out.

Please tell me you are not so stupid as to think a career coach would end his career just to sabotage UT football...

Ways to lose all credibility:

#1: accuse a coach of trying to sabotage a program and thusly sabotage his own career.....

An already sabotaged football team does not need a saboteur. I am going to give you credit for not really being so stupid as to believe a coach would wreck his own career to attempt to hurt a school that was already coming off their worst year in program history.

Wow, you sir need to step away from the key board and write everything down first, come back the next day and then post this kind of stuff after it has been reviewed by a 3rd party, (wife, kids, neighbor, somebody of your choosing) :thud:

Guess we’ll see tomorrow and truly hope we can hit on some of our targets but it has been strange... been following recruiting for 10-15 year so and not sure I remember turning away good talent since Kiffin coming in. He ended up making his only UT class a good one although most left/never amounted to much. Easy to remember guys like T. Boyd and others who we had but dropped for no other reasons that preference or putting a personal stamp on things.

Go away troll

He ran away our qb commits to get one with a to no of potential that fits our offense better. I mean your troll attempt is pathetic

Pointing out facts is now considered trolling... telling me how I was trolling? Not agreeing with you or someone else or voicing concern isn’t trolling is it? Damn people!

Pointing out facts? Cool when you can reinvent on the fly! When you starting that new course?

Pruitt didn't run off Martinez.
Frost just did an excellent job pouncing on him while UT was still looking for a HC. Kind if hard for Pruitt to recruit a kid when he wasn't even the coach yet.

Penix was always a plan B QB from the get go.

This.. Pretty sure I read where Pruitt tried to hold onto Martinez, to no avail..

Yeah, I think Martinez is going to be a good QB, maybe even great for Nebraska. I just wish with the uncertainty of QD leaving that Penix was still on the table, along with Shrout.

The only thing I can say is, that either tells me the staff is pretty sure QD is coming back, or they feel really good about JG with their system.

Correct, and it was Helton who did not think Penix would fit his offense.

Danny Parker was on WGOW with Hooker, et al a few days ago and said he was "shocked" that TN even offered Penix to begin with.
