If we take this guy, they’ve got an eye on getting him ready for 2019, IMO. Same with most JUCO DL they’d take this class.

We’ve got plenty of bodies in the front 7 going into 2018, but a lot of those guys will graduate next year. And Taylor may have a chance to jump to the NFL.

I thought the main reason for signing juco players was for immediate help, not sitting them for a year..

I mean yeah ideally, but look at the DL on our roster. We’ll be senior heavy in 2018. Unless we land a JUCO on the DL who is just a straight up beast, we’re not gonna have to lean to hard on JUCOs on the DL.

But if you bring some in you can put them in here and there and let them get a little experience looking forward to 2019.

May be looking for a larger pool to rotate from and keep people fresh. Also depends on the defense CJP will run..

Do we/anyone know for sure the defense Pruitt will run? Think everyone assumes it will be a 3-4, but he strikes me as the type that will run whatever his personnel dictates..

I’ve been assuming we’ll look kind of multiple in 2018 and mostly 3-4 by 2019.

Probably won’t know until spring practice though.
