I have mixed feelings. I liked Boulware and would love for him to still be on the team, but we don't need quitters or guys with attitude problems. I don't know the exact circumstances causing him to leave, but he not only quit on the coaches but also his teammates. And the team certainly could have used him last year.

Butch was unbearable to some players. Boulware was one of them. Really don't blame him for leaving.

Based on player reaction on social media they didn't blame him at all. Kid was played by previous staff

It's too easy for a player to claim he was played by coach's these day's. I think it's a shame that if you don't win big here not only will you be fired but you will be hated, vilified etc, ect.

About 30+ players quit on butch bc he wasn't who everyone thought he was

When so many players feel this way there is a real problem. If he was only one then I'd understand but he isn't. You don't find it out that so many have either quit and not come back or quit and came back when promised to start.

It was much much much more than simply not winning. Dooley didn't catch near as much flack in the way out.

Butch Jones wasn't just a bad coach. He was a legit POS human being.

I'm all in favor of it. Valentin plus Wallace, and then get to work and let the 5 best guys earn the spots. With the guys we still have, plus this new haul, if we land Valentin AND Wallace too, then with some competition for spots, I think we can put out a solid starting OL to get the job done. Starting to look solid up there again. And I really like the Will Friend hire at OL Coach. Our line will do way better now. Might be twice as talented as it was. Crazy what a few recruits and a new position coach will do.....

Those same players that wanted Lawson fired? I have my sources and my opinion. There are so many that out right lie about things that it's why I never say anything about what I know.

I get the trend of high profile guys leaving the team, which indicates a real problem. And like I said, I don't know the circumstances - maybe something happened that absolutely justified quitting mid-season. BUT, maybe things just weren't as promised/expected and Jones was an unbearable ass. As much as a player would want to quit on him and the other coaches, I would find much more respect for that player to man up and play out the season for his teammates, then transfer in the off-season. JMO.

All that being said, if the new coaches and his teammates want him back, then I'll support him, no doubt.
