Also our sites are saying that E Smith was not given the green light yet to commit so may be a the perfect opportunity for Pruitt.

I was about to post that Smith better be careful because if he flirts too much with Bama then we get other guys with the big need we have and Bama pulls others they want then he may not be able to go to Bama or UT. Might be why you see some CB's going the other way. If he holds out for Bama, then we will try for others who we like almost as well but or just a little below him on our board.

Reminds me of Aaron Robinson a couple of cycles back. Was committed to UF but took a late OV after offer and signed with UA on NSD. He ended up transferring to UCF last summer.

A couple of the recruits have said their coaches pointed out an opportunity for early playing time bc they lose like 4 or 5 DBs this year. I’m sure they conveniently forgot “oh by the way, we still have 4 and 5 stars stacked up in front of you.

Pretty easy answer. We are losing 6 DBs who were the starters in every package we played on defense. Yes as always we have returning players but as shown this year we will put the best players on the field to win including the 13+ freshman that saw major playing time including 6 that started in the 2nd half and helped bring home a NC.

They have no 5star CBs on the roster. four 4star and one 3star. his pitch is probably.. I only took 1 CB last year. Top 6 DBs, including the nickel back, are gone. I had to start a walkon at CB. DB is probably the one position that it will be hard to negative recruit Bama this year
