Exactly, the kid almost flipped on his visit. Need to get mamma on board and we could close with one of the best D-line and O-line recruiting seasons in recent memory.

At defensive end, all eyes are on Dorian Gerald right now. The JUCO pass rusher recently released a Top 5, but as VolQuest.com broke things down on Thursday, this is really a two-team race between Tennessee and South Carolina. Interestingly, both staffs seem to feel confident in their chances. Gerald didn’t hide his adoration for Walt Wells, but he also believes USCe gives him the fastest path to the field. His family will play a pivotal role in his decision and they absolutely loved their visit to Knoxville. Gerald has said he could commit at anytime, but he wants his younger brother to find a JUCO first. In all likelihood, a decision should come from Gerald in the next 7-10 days.

You do realize he's in school in California? You don't think distance is too much of a factor.

Is he taking summer classes? If not I'm pretty sure he's been home for almost 2 months. JUCO kids have less luxury of choice. Don't be surprised if he wants to stay close to them.
