It has been my experience that Vegas Vacation grows on me the more I watch it. It gets funnier every time whereas I found it to be kinda hokey when it came out. It's become an acquired taste. Still probably 4th in the series if I'm listing them in terms of "funnyness", but it pushes European for me for 3rd place.

The original is still the best though.

I agree, vacation would be 3rd for me over European but otherwise I agree totally. And your right about the vegas vacation growing on you, several others I know have said the same thing. If I had to watch in order it would be 1.Vacation 2. Christmas 3. Vegas and 4. European

Just out of curiosity, how old are you? I only ask because I know some people in their early 20s who agree with you. There seems to be a generational gap for those type movies. I'm almost 38 and don't find Animal House all that funny. Some people 10 years older than me would say that's blasphemous.

Like I said. I can respect it for its cult following and its historical place in comedy, but the type of humor just doesn't do it for me. I don't hate it. I just don't go out of my way to watch it.

I'm really not sure, but everything I've seen on him in the last couple of days said he would be a pass rushing specialist

He's listed as a DE on the OCD list, but that really doesn't mean anything. Could have been a mistake. Imo, he will start off as a LB in college. He may grow into DE, but not yet, imo
