Just out of curiosity, how old are you? I only ask because I know some people in their early 20s who agree with you. There seems to be a generational gap for those type movies. I'm almost 38 and don't find Animal House all that funny. Some people 10 years older than me would say that's blasphemous.

I'm in my twenties and don't see how anybody could think this. The first Vacation and Christmas vacation are classics that, IMO, have aged pretty well all things considered. Vegas isn't too bad either

Yeah, I was shocked when last Christmas, I met a couple guys in their early 20s who hated the Vacation series. I was shocked but have met a few since then that shared the same feelings. They all shared that similar age range.

The seen where Clark and Rusty "share" a beer still gives me fits. I can't see how someone could possibly think anything Adam Sandler has done over the past 5-10 years beats those movies.
