Actually, they don't. Vandy has had 4 DBs drafted since 2009, not 2 since 2001. DJ Moore, Myron Lewis, Andre Hal and Casey Hayward.
Hand argument is pretty weak, dude will be their go to DL and a day one draft pick next year
I definitely agree though that no one hits 100%
Nobody hits 100 but I've seen very few gamble like CBJ & Weldon. At UT you just can't gamble like you're still at Cincy with 2* and low 3* talent because Bama, LSU, UGA, SC etc aren't getting any worse
I am pretty sure over the past, lets say 5 yrs they can claim more next level draft pk in their secondary than we can at UT. That's success to me on their end. IJS
Can't wait for FB to start up. It's like a pissing contest in some of these post. Good lord, some of y'all take stuff WAY too seriously. Gotta lambast a guy for not differentiating between CORNER and Safety. The guy voiced his opinion and some of y'all get butt hurt cause he voices said opinion.
For y'all to be fans of the same team, some of y'all sure do belittle each other.
Praying for FALL, before more turn on each other.

Just trying to set the facts straight. He said it was 4 not two. My statement was CB's not DB's. It ain't church to have a discussion. If you can't argue sports, where is the fun in that? People make a good living at it too?

There would certainly be some kind of complaint somewhere on this board.
And, who are they gambling on this year exactly.? All those 4 stars coming in don't seem to be such a big gamble to me.
Idk if Moseley counts as too much of a gamble though since we had room for like 33 recruits in that class. He actually turned out better than the consensus 4* we brought in to EE alongside him.Gambled on quite a few 3 star/lower rated players the last 2 classes, 2016 and 2017. One glaring gamble from 2014 class was 145lb qb converted to cb Moseley. Gamble hasn't paid off particularly well.
As far as this year? No complaints, he's rebounded nicely with the new staff and appears to be getting the type of talent we need to compete at a high SEC level at the moment.

With guys like Moseley, you mainly worry that they aren't physically talented enough. But, I believe he is. It appears to me that it's been a lack of fundamental technique instead of physical ability. If that is the case, then the evaluation was fine. The coaching thereafter was not.
I will repeatedly say that our staff has previously been able to evaluate really well. What gets me is that we have a new DB coach that people seem to love. Yet, people are still complaining even though the VQ article said that Warren personally worked out Cross and Ingle and loved them.
