Since 2013, Andre Hal is the only Vandy DB drafted by an NFL team. He was a 7th round pick by the Houston Texans and the 216th player selected.

For those who are slow and struggle with mathematics, the last five years for the NFL draft include 2013,14,15,16,and 17. Vandy has one DB drafted. What is truth? Vandy according to some in the last five years has been successful in getting DB's to the NFL. Stop calling out other posters about truth when none is found in you. Time to triple down?

Facts from NFL.com. They might be considered a primary source on which school had which players drafted to the NFL. Maybe? :dunno:

In the past 5 drafts, 2013-2017, Vandy has had 1 DB and 0 CB drafted. Andre Hal, 2014, was drafted by the Houston Texans.

Making a statement that either team has had more draft success that the other in the past 5 years with the defensive backfield, or even DBs or CBs in particular is flat out wrong and ignorant. If kids believe that Vandy is a DB factory because their barber told them then I don't want them on our team. It took me 23 seconds to find out from the source, NFL.com, that they are not and likely never will be.

Could we quit distracting De1, so he can get back to cutting hair? He's got a line forming. Thanks buddies!

Exactly this. UT has not produced much in the last few years till 2017 when they had SIX. The entire issue for me is VANDY has never produced a lot of talent period and to say it is so much a better place to be even in the last five years is a false narrative.

If I said 5 years mathematician that includes 2012 in which Hayward was a 2nd rd pk by GB you are really showing your IQ and great intelligence Jacket. Also if you want to go bk to 09 they still lead with UT having only 2 Berry 2010& Sutton 2017. do you need blk & wht?

Man I don't think you'd have gotten much pushback if you were just pointing out how UT hasn't produced a lot of pro DBs. But you tried to paint Vandy as some pipeline program, which isn't factual. Time to let it go.

The draft is held in April of each year. April 30, 2012 was not within the last five years sir. We are in July of 2017. In the last five years would not include April 2012.

You said Vandy was developing players for the NFL. That was the discussion and regardless two within the last six years is not burning it up. Until 2017, UT was not but Butch the coach you hate did have six in his first actual class. You can insult my IQ but I do at the very least know not to carry a gun onto a college campus. I also know that five years from today a day in June would not include the 2012 draft but yet if it did, the great Vandy has two players and one was a 7th round pick. Keep going D1. I did not want to come out and say it but you are keep showing how a scarecrow works. The scarecrow said, "If only I had a brain." It is from The Wizard of Oz which is a movie.

It is your quote and your words. Go back six years and that is one second round pick and from the seventh round.
All joking aside, if you had said someone had picked OSU because of DB's getting to the next level, it would be factual. Vandy is not. UT is not but Eric freaking Berry does make up for three guys at a minimum himself. But, UT has not either but it will be interesting as our classes of CB's grow under someone other than Martinez. I agree with BB and will look forward to see what happens with Martin. The fact is neither Vandy nor UT have produced DB's for the next level but you still spouting how they have is just ridiculous. To pick up the second rounder you have to go to 2012 which is not only over five years back but six drafts. Why can't you just admit that Vandy is not doing great with DB's and this kid was way lower on UT's board. We are about to have some guys who are back there who were recruited under Butch getting to the NFL. Gaulden and Warrior are next I do believe and others coming. GBO and Vandy can still suck it.

All you have to do is count backwards on one hand!

2017 Draft = 1
2016 Draft = 2
2015 Draft = 3
2014 Draft = 4
2013 Draft = 5

That's five drafts. Even if you included 2012, 2 DBs in 6 years does not equate to being a DUB. We've put just as many DBs in the NFL in the past five years as Vandy has. What a maroon.

One hand is all you need to count to five. It leaves the other hand free to brandish your firearm at passing motorists! :popcorn:

My only statement was they were putting dbs in the NFL and more than uT in the last 5 years. You're the scarecrow with no brain you keep saying eric berry and they only had 1. I agreed with the other poster and said neither was Bama or tOSU but vandy had more. You want to keep arguing and now make dates etc, but facs are #facts dude they have had more whether 1 or 3 it more. Greater than or less than is all that counts and little brother has more Jacket just admit it and let it go. You were wrong.

Btw way to show your agony of defeat Jacket reaching bk to a charge that was dismissed and i still own the gun too. So how did I fare in that situation. I won against that guy too. Last 7th rd counts as drafted right so why bring that up? Oh ok another meaningless defeated post
