If he was worth waiting on that long we would have. If you ain't Ray Lewis potential and you decommitted from a school because TN offered you yet you stall and lose your spot because of what others may think then that is your fault.

Still think this guy ends up a Vol if he balls out this seaso along w/ Carvin.

Got the season to play out. A lot can happen (poor LB play, injuries, decommits, Thig out)

If I am not mistaken, after needs are met in a class, the staff will take the "next best player" on the board regardless of position. They could still sign Jones if that's the case and he ends up being toward the top of the board.

Im saying I wonder if he waits to see if we have room later on down the line. Not whether he is worth waiting on for us.

Play for the home state team that's trending up.

Or

Go to the side show campus of turmoil and protest where they occasionally boycott the football team.

I always wondered how high Jones was on the board at LB. I like his athleticism and all, but it's hard to tell how good his instincts are from his highlights with him playing mostly DE in high school.

I still think we need more athletic LB's. Only way we still don't take Jones is if Anderson is coming.

after a couple weeks of impressive high school film, the vols have actively reengaged with linebacker target cam jones. Suddenly, tennessee is evaluating jones as a second linebacker in the 2018 class. The vols are also really recruiting south florida wideout jeshaun jones.
