How are ND and Arky "pushing hard" when they haven't even offered him? That seems like strange..

"Don't do anything yet. We're are waiting to see if some folks we like better are coming to our school. If they don't, we would totally give you an offer. You're not a backup plan though. Don't think of it in those terms."

Do you really think they are this gullible?

Are we looking at him as a WR or a LB? Thread title says WR but I thought he was being consider for the defensive side of the ball.

CB from Callahan

Callahan & Jonah Jordan too with CB's. He's going to be a Vol. It's a question of when. I told you guys that a few posts back. I'd say this month more than likely but no later than July-August. Thanks. By the way, he's probably going to be either a S or LB & not a WR even though he's played WR in high school too.

"Tennessee definitely is in good shape with Jones right now, but I don't think anything is imminent right now. He's still adding offers, and schools like Notre Dame and Arkansas are showing interest in him. I could see him waiting up to several more weeks to make a final decision."- Callahan

He also said he thinks the coaches see him as a linebacker right now.

Jones hasn't camped anywhere (for Rivals, 247, Under Armour, etc.) Now that he's fairly focused on playing defense at the next level, his offer list should rise significantly this summer.

The Skinny: The younger brother of former Vols defensive tackle LaRon Harris was an Indiana commit for less than two months before reopening his recruitment last week. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound athlete projects as a linebacker for most schools, with Missouri recently offering and Notre Dame and Arkansas getting close to pulling the trigger. Tennessee loves Jones’ athleticism and explosiveness. If he decides to make another decision soon, then the Vols are the likely choice.
