We should be redshirting our freshmen OL every year anyway.

When we played Oklahoma in Norman a few years ago, their line was made up of Juniors, Seniors, and RS Seniors. Ours was made up of Freshmen, Sophmores, and maybe a Junior. We got owned. Taking 6 and redshirting them would leave us in the same boat I described before. It is still a bad idea.

So just to be clear....BB and Glitch......You say we will take no more than 4. And 4 does NOT equal 6. So the number is 4? But not 6. 4.

Been preaching about how that first year doing non game prep but concentrated lifting is imperative to be a great program on the line.

Yes they have & more than one school too. I know FSU I believe took 6 back in 2015 or 2016 I believe. We also have done if before ourselves. There's more schools that have done it but I would have to look into it to remember which schools have done it.

I may do that tomorrow. I'm wanting to say Oklahoma did it in 2012 or 2013 as well but not sure. It's not done regularly. I agree with you guys on that but this isn't a regular OL class. Thanks.

Just imagine.....

8 OL on the line...with a 6'6" 320 lb. lead blocker...paving the way for a 6'4" 280 scat back

Kinda takes the wind out of the quarterback competition
