In 18 months the right way? Id say 30-40 would be a good target depends on if he is done growing lots of variables with someone that young.

Need to factor in how much bad weight he's carrying atm. Could add 30-40 lbs of good weight and end up gaining no weight if he dropped bad weight along the way.
