I'm in the middle- rankings matter to an extent but they aren't everything. Point is if Trey has it, there's no shame in letting him play/start. Cam Robinson started day 1. I'm pretty sure Chance Warmack and Andre Smith did also for Bama and even more than them.
Why would Alabama, the standard of CFB right now risk playing freshmen on the line? Bc if they're good enough, it doesn't matter how old they are.
I would be worried if we had multiple underclsssmen/Freshmen on the line but if Trey started, it wouldn't bother me.
I agree..if Trey is good enough to win the spot..just because he is one of those trancendent talents. That is more than fine with me. I think the kid is going to be a great UT OLineman, and play in the league barring injury. I just think there are some guys in front of him that are going to play in the league also...barring injury.
