Well, they were supposedly upset that we took too long to offer Max in the first place. I don't know if that was really the case, but that could be a little piece of bad history if true.

I work with a lady that's friends with his mom. I asked her about it a few months ago and he was all Vol. He committed to Uga bout a month after that, then de1 said that they didn't like that it seemed like the OL coach wasn't the one that was truly running the show with the OL, debo was.

Fast forward and we didn't renew Mahoney's contract and hire Wells. Not long after Wray decommits from uga. That along with little brother being high on UT and a couple other schools throwing out the G word was hopefully enough to sway him back this way.
