I live here and I'll never figure it out. I get it if you grew up here and all that, but I could never figure out what out-of-staters attraction to Ohio is. For the most part it's a decaying and dying state. Worst town in America has to be Chillicothe.

I've just been hearing quite a bit about Ohio State since Wray's visit there over the weekend. The Buckeyes apparently made quite an impression on him, and I know they have a need for tackles. That's one of the reasons Ohio State always thought it was an appealing option to Trey Smith: The Buckeyes aren't exactly loaded at tackle.

Not saying that's the only factor in play here, but I do think there could be a clearer path for Wray to become an impact player at Ohio State than at any of the SEC schools he's considering.

OSU and BAMA have a reputation of peaking their players while in college and not upside for those who want to get to the pros. They also have very hard practices that puts a lot of wear and tear on the players body entering the pros..

Living in any of the 3 big cities is great. Especially Columbus, great City growing at a tremendous rate.

Pointing out a small town like Chillicothe doesn't factor in to guys going to OSU (Chillicothe does suck tho lol)

The way Ohio State didn't score a point and the O-line getting dominated by Clemson needs to be used here. Talent wasn't the problem. Coaching is what led to that. Even injured we managed to score on Alabama. Smh lol

I don't really think of OL when I think of Ohio ST or urban. Usually think playmakers and now DBs since he is churning them out left and right

Our offensive line may be a position group with some competition, but it's definitely not a settled group yet. Plus we will be losing two guys off the OL after this season. I know it's a factor to consider in recruiting, but I'm always weary on wanting players who are afraid of competition. I know a lot of NCAA coaches will back off once recruits start mentioning that depth chart and competition.

Coldest I've ever been in my life was Cleveland Ohio in March...snowed sideways off the lake.
