Word is Pruitt and Fulmer will visit Manchester today, Taylor cancelled UL trip to go back to Knoxville this weekend. I live in Tullahoma and have a buddy in the program.

We need him To come out and make it public he is back on board asap. We could use a little momentum with the number of decommitts even though we know they were our doing.

Unless you're the two CB and DE de-commit, amirite? Cuts both ways. The enthusiasm is good, I just caution everyone here. We need results.

A new coaching staff with any class will tell a kid in private that they don't want him, and let him decommit, without public comment.

So if you see a decommit after a visit, don't assume that the kid made the choice.

Taylor will not be visiting Tennessee this weekend, Kirby told him that he needed a final decision by Friday so he will not be in Knoxville this weekend. I still think he picks Tn.

Taylor took an official visit to Tennessee last weekend, and there have been reports published elsewhere indicating he would visit again this weekend to hang out with coach Jeremy Pruitt and the new staff.

That’s not going to happen. Taylor said he is eyeing a free weekend to regroup after having made a very tough decision.

Taylor also told DawgNation that he has been given a Friday deadline by Georgia to decide whether he wants to be in the Class of 2018.

Coach Kirby Smart has asked for that answer so that he will know how many scholarships the Bulldogs will have left for 2018 heading into the early signing period.

Taylor said he will share that choice privately with the UGA staff and then make it public Dec. 18.

“Just being a Tennessee boy and being a part of a program I know will soon be back on top,” Taylor said of the lure of the Volunteers.

That wasn’t just lip service. It seems Pruitt’s appeal for him to represent his state clearly matters to him.

“People know me as a family-first guy,” Taylor said. “I want my family to see me play. I also wanna be ‘the guy’ [when] some people look back at Tennessee and they say, ‘That Taylor kid started it’ with the recruits we get and what I can bring to the field.”

Alontae should tell Kirby what he can do with his Friday cutoff for his decision. Don’t let him push you around. Come visit TN again, if that’s what you want.

Makes no sense, if he has to tell Kirby by Friday then he can always visit after he tells Kirby either way.

Sounds like him not wanting to let down the UGA reporter to me.

go Vols!

If his pick is Tn, I expect him to be in Knoxville this weekend. He says decision has been made. He said it was made two weeks ago when announcing his Dec 22 date. I just think he flipped. No reason not to visit Knoxville this weekend if he picks the Vols.

Should we be concerned about Taylor going elsewhere?

Not imo

Still visiting UT this weekend?

He was Supposed to visit Louisville this weekend but canceled that and it supposed to be back in Knoxville

I hope he comes anyway.

**** that bowl cut sporting doughboy in Athens.

Amen, he thinks he’s Saban and now he’s bullying recruits. Smart has a bunch of Richts seniors and one happens to be an all time sec statistical rb who wanted to come back for his senior season and make it a “special season”. We’ll see how good Smart is after UGA loses Richt’s boys, I’m expecting a big fallout next year.

Also, letting the kid know early gives him time to pursue other options...Pruitt’s handling it the right way, not stringing the kids along.

Maybe it’s because I am really tired tonight but this one concerns me. If he had decided to come to UT already then why not come this weekend? How does a free weekend help if he has to decide by Friday? If he tells Georgia it’s UT, do they leak it! I really hope Oklahoma wins the NC.
