Because he’s had some incredible catches, and plays with intensity.

WR is still a new position to him (iirc played QB/S in Hs) and still did well here despite playing in a crap offense with bad coaches and a better athlete than thrower at QB.

He doesn’t have Calloways or Taylor’s top end potential, but he does have the chance to be a very good #2 receiver who doesn’t shrink in moments.

JJ has all the talent and attributes. He needs coaching and an attitude change. The hate by “vol fans” here is ridiculous.

He brought a lot of that hate on himself with his actions last year. But I think you are over stating the hate here. A couple people saying he's overrated is pretty mild "hate" around here.
