Moved out of the top 247 final rankings in 247sports. Seems like our 2 highest players (jj peterson) dropped a lot in their rankings

I wonder if in cases like Taylor, where the kid is solidly committed, they're less concerned with using the camps to ball out and improve personal stock and more interested in the networking / peer-recruiting angle of the events. Might explain all these players who are clearly bad-asses slipping a bit once they're committed. But, I dunno.

it just doesn't sell as much once they are committed.

There is no way they don't. Their entire business model is driven by clicks and suspense, more or less. With the early signing period, I suspect we will see a lot more drops in recruits between then and February.

That may be one reason CJP isn't hand wringing like many on VN at that position.

One thing I like early on about Coach, is that he doesn't seem to let worry creep up on him. That and he shuts down reporters when they ask dumb questions lol.

Hate to repeat this but stated this in another thread. Said similar things. Figured this might be the case since we strike out on our top DBs this cycle. Plus currently he doesn’t look like natural WR at this time.

Anyone know what Bama typically does for spring game?

Feel like we never really had a spring game under Butch. Instead it was always some weird situational scrimmaging.
