'18 TN RB Master Teague

Kind of like Butch and WR in Tennessee in the 2017 class?

I know some of the reasons why Butch didn't get them, but Kirby having Eason and Fromm does have something to do with the 2018 Georgia QBs looking elsewhere.

It also sounds like Smart lying to them played a big role as well.

The only concerning thing I can see with this kid is that he does not show a lot of yards after contact in his videos. I want to see him blowing some peeps up before I am totally sold.

Master Teague starting to separate schools

The 4-star running back has made his rounds.

Teague has been busy this spring taking recruiting visits to many of his top schools of interest. He dropped a top 12 that included eight programs that had offered and four schools — Alabama, Clemson, LSU and Ohio State — that could remain in the conversation despite no offer, though none of those schools have changed their stances yet.

Since his March 19 release, Teague has taken visits to Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State, Tennessee and Georgia. South Carolina hasn’t hosted Teague since the season opener last football season, but the Gamecocks still are considered one of the front-runners for Teague.

On Sunday, Teague confirmed that his list has been reduced from 12, but he opted not to make any official statements on which schools made the cut and those that didn’t. It’s fair to assume that the offering programs he’s visited recently — Tennessee, Auburn and Georgia — are major contenders.

“We already answered most of the questions about the schools and stuff like that,” Teague said. “Now we’re kind of reading and praying, just trying to listen for God, to where he would have me be at. Just kind of listening and praying, hoping that we’ll find the right place for me, where I can grow as a person and fulfill God’s will.”

According to Scout.com he's going to make a decision in June. Had this to say about the Vols

"They're a great program and the coaches are great. It's an in-state school, too, and thats good. They also have a good culture and tradition."

Seemed to speak more highly of both Auburn and OSU. Just my opinion on what he said. Take it for what its worth.

Hubbs must know something. This kid and his family have kept this on lock down. Members of his OL been at our house over the past few days. None of them know. Multiple players in his ear about UT but they said they can't get a good read on him.

Good. I like this kid and his recruitment. Sure, it sucks not knowing what he is thinking. But it sure does bring the intensity and suspense up just a tad. And the kid is a good kid. I hope he continues down the road of letting God chose his direction. God will place him where he is suppose to be whether that be UT or somewhere else. I will be rooting for him.

From SC site:

As for four-star running back Master Teague (Murfreesboro, Tenn./Blackman), it’s an Auburn-South Carolina battle with Georgia looming (especially if the Bulldogs don’t land Fenwick). If Ohio State offers, the Buckeyes could be tough to beat, but there’s not a lot of signs that they will.

It does not sound terrific, but I will wait to see where he goes. I think he could be elite and I would love for him to play here. If he chooses not to, we certainly have other options.

Hmm, I'm wondering if Dixon is a silent and we are only taking 2 RBs, which would mean with Corbin on board, Teague currently isn't a take???
