Because he had no interest in being a linebacker.... why would you seriously consider a school that doesn't recruit you for he position you want to play.... assuming your capable of playing that position...

The discussion is about players who Tennessee and Auburn recruited that eventually went to Auburn. How does Ronnie Brown not apply? There were no stipulations put on the reasoning why. Regardless of the reason, simply put, he chose AU over Tennessee. You're overthinking it.

The simple point is that we beat Auburn head to head for a 5 star WR. I'll admit that Auburn makes me a little nervous, but this staff can really recruit. It might come down to who has a better season this year.

Since the last thing I saw was that Teague intended to commit by end of June, I don't think season results will come into play. Although, I guess he could always change his mind.

Hope so but I'll reserve judgement until NSD. He had the states top kids on lockdown last year. Still plent of time for his runners to do it again.

Smart has 3 top 247 QBs in Georgia and was unable to land any of them. Could you imagine the flack Jones would have received if we had those 3 in our backyard and couldn't close 1?

I know some of the reasons why Butch didn't get them, but Kirby having Eason and Fromm does have something to do with the 2018 Georgia QBs looking elsewhere.

Yeah not many QBs want to go into that situation. It's one thing if Eason were say a year older but a Soph 5 star and Freshman 5 star typically means their will be better options elsewhere. They should be back on track in 2019 QB race
