three-star senior defensive tackle otito ogbonnia of taylor high school in katy, texas, told govols247 on monday night that he plans to announce his college decision wednesday at 10 a.m. Central time.

The 6-foot-3, 300-pound ogbonnia said he plans to choose between four finalists: Nebraska, tennessee, ucla and texas tech. He has been on official visits to all four schools, along with ole miss. Nebraska hosted him on his final visit over the weekend.

And he hasn't made up his mind on where he wants to play. "i'm going to sleep on it," ogbonnia said.

Ogbonnia, also a track and field standout who's among the nation's top shot-putters, is ranked by 247sports as the no. 587 overall prospect and no. 38 defensive tackle in the 2018 class. In the industry-generated 247sports composite, he's ranked the no. 756 overall prospect and no. 54 defensive tackle.

Texas tech, tennessee and nebraska have received one prediction each for ogbonnia on the 247sports crystal ball.

Kind of random but gv247 is forecasting him to UCLA. They said it's a guess as seems like family seems to like some other options

Does Ogbonnia know that our school colors come from the wild orange and white daisies that used to cover the Hill, back in the early days? Maybe the coaches forgot to tell him that, what with so much always going on. I hope he got the word.
