Good post. Shows how much Smart trusts his ability to evaluate and develop talent if he's given latitude to take players that are "on the fence" so to speak.

I don’t know. If he’s a git shirt that’s disappointing. I want to be getting the top guys too, not picking up GA and Bama’s leftovers. I mean, his other options are Appalachian State and Coastal Carolina.

I’m sure things will be different next year tho when our guys have a full year to recruit.

i hear ya. and i think that was part of our problem with butch.

but i think i look at this kid, thick lower body, pretty good wing span....maybe he is a good fit at LB or if he puts on some weight, DE in 34. i think this staff has "types" they're looking for from a measurable standpoint.

and depth is never a bad thing.

I think Parsons is a pipe dream for UGA. Anything can happen in recruiting, but its a longshot. It'll be interesting to see if Sherrer extends an offer to Brule.
