Considering the leve of kids they are recruiting and turning away it's not your typical git shirts. It's becoming Bama level git shirts having too many very good players want to come

I agree. According to some UGA posters Becton's decommitment may be due to the general concensus that Brenton Cox is headed to Athens. Becton would be a nice pickup.

Watch the tape, not the stars. He didn’t really do the camp circuit, they are Money Racket now anyway. His best days are ahead and has a solid frame of which to build. I think he plays like a mid 4 star in college and wouldn’t be shocked if he doesn’t hit 4 star before enrolling. What would shock me is if he stays committed to UGA. Not getting the love from the coaches that he wants or deserves. VT is, they are pushing hard. I don’t think Becton hears much from UGA now that Sherrer is gone. Big mistake but jmho. Sherrer knows his potential and it will be interesting how hard he pushes here. Could end up a VT/UT battle.

Agree on the tape. He is a Great football player who is flying under the radar. The only reason anyone could justify his 3* rating is because he may be playing in a lower classification. He’s at least a 4*. Agile, mobile and hostile...

Is Becton a fall back if we don't land our top targets or do we take him regardless to add depth to our OLB corp?

I don't know how "special" he is or will be, but I can appreciate continuing to build a relationship with Ocean Lakes HS, as they routinely churn out D1 athletes.

They’ll probably continue to be a solid program and still nice to have a good relationship with going forward but they’ve taken a small step backwards since their coach left a couple years ago to take over a private school program instead. He got in trouble at OL for recruiting a couple times so he left to go to a school where he could do it (mostly) legally.

Good info. I wasn't aware. I moved from the area in 2014. They were always a premier team.

Yeah that sums it up. He was always loaded with talent and won only 1 state title. I think this year his team went 6-4. 😂😂😂😂😂
